Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the last and concluding book in the Harry Potter saga. After taking control of almost everything in the wizard world Voldemort is now on the hunt for Harry using everything he's got and killing everything that stands in his way. Harry has isolated himself from the world and has gone into hiding. With the company of his 2 most trusted friends Ron and Hermione they will go on a mission that Dumbldore has set for them. A mission to destroy several things that keep Voldemort invincible, horcruxes. Now Harry has to go on a world wide adventure to search and destroy these horcruxes and when he does he will be able to take down Voldemort once and for all.

Summary

The Order is protecting Harry from the Dark Lord: Lord Voldemort by having all of them cloned to confuse the death eaters. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are planning on going to find the horcruxes that Voldemort has. Ron decided to walk out on Harry and Hermione for their lack of time in finding the horcruxes. Harry and Hermione go to Godrics Hollow to search for the sword of Gryffindor and the person who owns it Bathilda Bagshot. Bathilda finds Harry and Hermione and takes them to her home. She then takes Harry to the attic where Nagini who is Voldemort's pet snake attempts to ambush Harry. Hermione comes to Harry's rescue and saves him from the attacking snake. In the forest Harry spots a glowing doe and follows it to a frozen lake. In the lake Harry notices that the sword of Gryffindor was stuck in a rock at the bottom of the lake. Harry attempted to retrieve the sword but ended up almost drowning. Out of nowhere Ron comes to Harry's aid and helps him to get the sword. Harry, Ron, and Hermione go to Mr. Lovegoods house to get an answer for a symbol that they found in a book that Hermione received in a will by Dumbldore. It turns out that the symbol meant for the Deathly Hallows. Xenophilius however was only stalling them to summon some death eaters to take Harry in return for Mr. Lovegoods daughter Luna. Harry, Ron, and Hermione escaped but were shaky on the information received by Mr. Lovegood. Harry, Ron, and Hermione got captured by snatchers and was taken to Malfoy manor where Voldemort was residing. Bellatrix and Lucius took Hermione and tried to interrogate her for they had found the sword of Gryffindor in her hands and wanted to know where she got it. Meanwhile a house elf named Dobby came to their rescue and took the to Shell cottage. Dobby had died by a knife wound right before they took off and was buried at a hill top at Shell cottage. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are planning on breaking into the Lastrange vault at Gringotts bank. Griphook a retired goblin the used to work at Gringotts has agreed to help them. As a reward though they would have to give him the sword of Gryffindor. Harry told him that he would receive the sword when he was done using it to destroy the horcruxes. At Gringotts Hermione drank some polyjuice potion in order to look like Bellatrix Lastrange. At the vault Harry found the goblet of Hufflepuff and disappeared from the scene. Harry, Ron, and Hermione appear in Hogsmeade where they were ambushed by death eaters. Lucky for Harry, Ron, and Hermione Aberforth who was Dumbldore's brother saved them from the death eaters and sheltered them inside his home. At Hogwarts Harry, Ron, and Hermione went looking for the last 3 horcruxes which was the lost diadem, Nagini, and a third which Harry did not know of. Voldemort was summoned by Snape and began a war with all of Hogwarts. As the battle went on so did Harry as he finally found 1 horcrux and stabbed it with the tooth of the basilisk. After a brutal battle Voldemort called off the battle in order for to give Harry time to give himself up to Voldemort. With the time they had Harry had a revalation explaining what he had to do. During that revealtion Harry discovered that he was 1 of the horcruxes that he had to destroy. Harry decided that he would go to Voldemort and have him kill Harry. So without will he approached Voldemort and let him kill Harry. In doing so Harry discovered that he had not died but had only killed the horcrux that was inside of Harry. In shock Voldemort tried to kill him once more but instead his spell was backfired and killed Voldemort. 19 years had passed and a lot has changed. Harry had gotten married to Ginny Weasly and had three kids James, Lily, and Albus Potter. Ron had gotten married to Hermione and they had 2 kids Hugo, and Rose Weasley. They are sending their kids off to Hogwarts and they couldn't be happier. All as well.

What I liked about the book

What I liked about the book is that it kept me guessing whats going to happen next. Also that some people told me that some characters in the story was going to die but it turns out that they don't. The story line was very interesting because it was very slow in the beginning and very fast in the end. What I mean is that the beginning of the book was sort of draggy because it focused too much on 1 subject rather than going through a bunch to keep us interested. Towards the ending it was fast because it got to the point right away like there was no pace for it at all. All in all though this book was really good and was very twisty at the end meaning some of the things you will read or watch will blow your mind or will fix your confused thoughts.

My Favorite part of the story

My favorite part in the book is when Harry, Ron, and Hermione arrived at Hogwarts and went looking for the last 3 horcruxes which was the lost diadem, Nagini, and a third which Harry did not know of. Suddenly Voldemort was summoned by Snape after Snape had found out about Harry's presence in the castle. All of the underage students had to evacuate the castle using the Room of Requirement which led to an old pub in Hogsmeade. Meanwhile all of the staff and the older students formed an army in which to buy Harry some time to find the remaining horcruxes. I liked this part of the story because I like battle sequences and the fact that all of Hogwarts is standing up to Voldemort and his army is really cool.
